Horizontal Bi-Stable Vibration Energy Harvesting Using Electromagnetic Induction and Power Generation Efficiency Improvement via Stochastic Resonance

In this study, a vibration energy-harvesting system is developed by first proposing horizontal bi-stable model comprising an elastic spring and mass block then applying electromagnetic induction power generation device composed of magnet coil. Subsequently, based on weight function that considers the mutual positional relationship between conducting coil, set simultaneous governing equations consider force Lorentz derived. Additionally, numerical analysis method employing Runge–Kutta utilized to obtain solution for response displacement voltage simultaneously. Experiments are performed verify results yielded proposed system. The shows measured consistent with analytical results. Moreover, issues including identification damping coefficients effects normal kinetic friction forces, as well displacement, discussed comprehensively. Simultaneously adding random periodic signals in stochastic resonance improves both amplification effect generation.
